last time i got an account with may bank
then i use the money until abt 20dollars in the account
then abt 2 yrs later i want to top up a few hundred dollars
last time i go johore often so i tot it good to have money in a malaysian bank
they say i dont have an account with them
i sais 1 left 20dollars in the acc
thery say since u below the minimum sum of i dunknow how much
they deduct 1dollar every mth for 'admin' cost
so 2 yrs all the 20dollars was deducted and close acc
i decided not to deposit my money
then i use the money until abt 20dollars in the account
then abt 2 yrs later i want to top up a few hundred dollars

That day I just wanted to cancel 1 credit card, it took me 16mins to get it done. It is machiam likes an endurance feat. 
2mins can settle, wasted 14mins on the phone...

there was a movie on this kind of theft
there is this office bank guy...the movie is OFFICE SPACE
who steal 1 cent from every custimer
he stole millions of dollars
undetected
but something went wrong
and he was almost caught
but there was a fire in the building and he escaoe with the millions without anyone ever knowing the theft

I had two accounts with OCBC and UOB respectively. I had more than a hundred dollars in the accounts. Since they introduced the minimum balance, I did not update or transactions. Eventually both accounts were depleted. OCBC still kept the acc live for a long time, urging me to deposit money. I just ignored.

My son's account showed that "$1.48 was deducted 11 times on a single day. Now he had instructed the bank to inform him of any transaction via SMS, even if it is one dollar....
