I cannot accept the argument that inactivated vaccine is less effective than mRNA.

Simply because inactivated has the virus intact and any mutation would have been detected. mRNA on the other hand is encoding based on last known sub design and has to be updated or at least the next shot you get has to be updated to most recent mutation for it to work.
