Google probably best for photos. It organises all my photos make into slide show album etc.

It so good I pay for more space.

You need to keep with big company that won't collapse.

You can also set up your home cloud using Synology if you worry about personal data being used or stolen.

My recommendation is invest in a good home system using Synology. A few hundred invested is very worth it. You can use for long time.

Banks with the tightest security also they broke in what's google cloud, dropbox ...etc Nothing is secured in the air

Never put your sensitive info on cloud be it Google or whatever establish IT companies.

Problem if the player is new they offer you big space to lure you to put content then they start charging.

I still find setting up a home cloud using Synology is best .
The security pretty good. Once you set up you can keep added more space if you need.

When I was in Taiwan on tour I can easily access and up load my pictures update my journal as a travel. No need to sort out when j get home. 

I also use it yo store tons of machine learning data and models.

Once the initial outlay is made. It is free. And cheaper that subscribing to Google
