There is a HUGE difference.  These type of websites purposely sensationalise and distort the truth in order to attract more eyeballs so as to being in more advertising revenue. 

Meaning they would deliberately create fiction and lies if there is more money to be made than just indulge in mere coffee shop talk.

This I agree. Ah Butt loves sensational fake news sites and he is always around supporting and propagating rubbish from such sites. The most current examples were those fake Ukraine war craps he posted from US media......

Why should govt POFMA those sites? Their craps don't smear the govt or any govt institutions. As long as any sites that propagate fake news about Singapore and within the legal catching arms of our law, govt always take action after passing the POFMA law.......
