4 imported COVID-19 variant cases reported in HK today

Among them, a 20-year-old woman who arrived in Hong Kong from Greece was found to have N501Y and E484K variants. She had one dose of Comirnaty vaccine in U.K. last month.

Among them, a 33-year-old man received a dose of Cormirnaty vaccine in the United Kingdom on the 6th of last month, and a 28-year-old woman received a dose of Comirnaty vaccine in the United Kingdom on 9th June.

The DH thus invoked the Prevention and Control of Disease (Regulation of Cross-boundary Conveyances and Travellers) Regulation (Cap. 599H) to prohibit the landing of passenger flights from Istanbul operated by Turkish Airlines in Hong Kong from tomorrow to 17th August.

Omg First case to have a carrier of double variants! Our import cases on shn had covid... so no need vaccine certs?

There is no right or wrong decisions. 
One only has to bear the consequences that one makes  Big Grin
