The law must be pretty lenient on scammers and their accomplices judging by the sheer volume of such offences in S'pore. It is time that scammers/mules are jailed for a long enough time to deter likeminded criminals from causing more misery for their victims.

Scamming others on their hard earned money, especially those retirees, shd be severely dealt with. Cannot be too lenient like light jsil sentence. Shd include rotan wil be more appropriate.

very difficult to catch . should mandatory dead sentence for scammer even if outsidne of singapore if scam victim is older then 55yo.
the devastating effect on the victims is no less then drug victims.
