An incident like the one in which the sea dredger was to reach the bottom of the Black Sea after touching a mine could be avoided if the Naval Forces had drones specialized in the destruction of such explosive devices.
From the beginning of the war until now, 28 sea mines have been destroyed in the western part of the Black Sea, of which three are from Turkey, two from Romania, one from Bulgaria and 22 from Ukraine. The Romanian Naval Forces have four maritime dredgers and one minelayer, all built in the 80s.
