81-Year-Old Woman In S’pore Cares For Daughter With Down’s Syndrome & Dementia Alone
#1

The pair moved into a one-room rental flat at Beach Road after staying temporarily with some relatives. Miss Deng’s father has passed away, while her elder brother and his wife allegedly ousted them from their home, wrote 8world News.

Despite wanting her daughter by her side always, Madam Bi is aware that she has to plan for the long term. This way, if she falls seriously ill or passes away, Miss Deng will have somewhere to go.

In anticipation of that prospect, Madam Bi has also placed a sign for free funeral services on her wall. When she indeed breathes her last one day, whoever comes by can hopefully attend to her funeral rites accordingly.

It is her destiny to take care of her, and she knew it, it is responsibility.

She has done her job as a wonderful woman in this world. I give my utmost respect to her. Everybody has their own destiny.

Should just walk away or have her killed

There is no solution here except above

The old lady will die earlier than the daughter and then who will take care of her when the old lady is gone?

This is a curse, to break free from it is to do the above

If IAM in the daughter's position, I will tell my mother to just kill me instead of be a burden that will not go away

This is life, make the right choices

Everyone go away anyway, just go easy and go in peace

The problem is Spore govt does not allow euthanasia despite other countries already allow under some stringent criteria. This need to be made into law to reflect current times era. Can the Spore govt imagine the suffering it causes for both parties? Why prolong the suffering until one of them really go which can be X years or even longer?
