A Man Used an A.I. Video to Argue His Case in NY Court. Judge Was Not Happy

That’s wild, but honestly not too shocking given how fast AI tools are being adopted. I get why the judge was annoyed—courts want evidence from verifiable sources, not something that could be altered or generated. I’ve played around with AI-generated videos out of curiosity, and yeah, they can look convincing, but there’s always something a little off. Especially stuff like deepfakes... no way that’s gonna fly in a legal setting.
I’ve actually been messing with a few editing tools for my own vids at home, nothing legal though lol. If you’re ever combining clips or trimming down content, I’ve had a pretty easy time using this video merger for pc—way easier to navigate than the pro-level editors.
