Nowadays children can do adults can do. Recently got driver shortage for school bus, correct? Just ask one student from each bus to drive the bus. No more shortage.

My friend's son was obsessed with all types of buses since very young. He wanted to be a bus drivers or operator when grown up

Then he no need study so high until to University level. Study finish Poly can go work liao. Parents "earn" as in shake leg earlier as no need slog so many years.

City and major road driving around 30 to 60kmh, and as a boy first time driving shd be lower. So could be about 1.5 to 3 hrs

You need a separate licence and test to qualify to drive a bus

Yahmai. Last time Bus driving was alot harder dan nowadays. you beri observant and got good memory. nowadays every thing high tech less strenuous compared to the past. The bigger the vehicle the more gears it has. alot more onerous dan driving car.
