A former NUS prof submitted fake invoices for 6 years, duping the university into "reimbursing" him nearly S$88,400.

He thought small amounts won't get caught easily. He's quite right that it took 6 yrs to find out

I am aware of colleagues at my previous companies who padded their expense accounts, but fraud on this scale which involves fake invoices and doctored receipts are easily detected by auditors.
