He joined a private company, not the U.S. armed force, Biden is not responsible for his death, not sure the compensation Ts & Cs like…fighting in a war is not like working in a factory….high chance to get killed, that is why they are paid well.

Which means, as American, it is not illegal to engage in foreign war, even being as a hired mercenaries ?

I thought the Ukrainian gov claim that they have a many "volunteers" rather than paid ex-soldier as contractors ?

Or is the US gov using "well paid " ex-US servicemen as "private military contractors" to interfere in other countries as in the case they tried a sponsored coup in Venezuela ?

Yes, the U.S. garment does engage private companies for the operations there. Many of the volunteers are ex-soldiers. You suspect they are undercover U.S. force, very hard to prove. Legally these volunteers signed agreements with private companies rather than the U.S. garment even though the private companies are funded by the U.S. garment.

Hang...one moment you say these are "well paid" ex-US servicemen...now you claim they are "American volunteers". What's the difference ?

Also, don't you find it strange US gov allows their citizens to participate in wars and conflicts, many of which run parallel with US backdoorinterfering and influence operations in other countries ?

RIP, war is not like a computer game, you only have one life, not multiple lives as in the games.

Soldiers are usually very young, some got killed during their sleep when a bomb was dropped on the roof at night, they didn’t know what was happening when they died

I thought US and some of its NATO friends had been pumping hi-tech weapons to Ukrainian military from drones to advanced missiles , many of which make targeting human like playing computer games. Problem is they forget their own ex-soldiers can also be target of someone else's computer game.

No all foreign mercenaries/combatants are "young". Many are veterans. Like I said, what is odd is unlike other NATO members, only the American gov seems to encourage their citizen to join the Ukraine conflict. Even the UK gov told their citizens not to go.

That is the best way to go compared to being half drugged and getting one’s throat slowly being slit or burned alive in a cage…
