I don't see this happening in S'pore because of our pro-business/pro-employer Govt which views workers as mere cogs in the wheel to keep our economy going full steam ahead. In many developed countries, bosses may be reported by subordinates for even sending them a text message about work after office hours.

Being in senior management, I have often been guilty of sending emails or text messages regarding work on weekends, or after office hours simply because I was afraid that I would forget to do so, or lost track of time on a weekday evening. I never expect an immediate answer, but I guess my subordinates must have thought I would, which annoyed them.
