If new title does not come with added roles and responsibilities it is ok. If you change job can use the new title to attract the next employer. But if new title come with added roles and responsibilities and no add monies you know what to do.

Singapore is getting interesting under this current Govt. Try giving FTs a promotion without salary change and MOM will call the company.
