On July 7, the Shin Min Daily News reported that four teenagers broke into the top floor of the Punggol car park, playing football, running, and riding scooters. Their behavior was dangerous, and some residents tried to persuade them but were scolded instead.
"They kicked the elevator hard, making a loud noise. The elevator even malfunctioned for a while. It went up to the third floor and the door opened, but it couldn't get to my sixth floor. I was scared, so I quickly got out of the elevator. Many residents went out to see what happened."
It is understood that the four or five teenagers involved in the incident did not live in the area. Their parents later came to the scene and had a dispute with the residents. The neighborhood committee saw this and called the police.
