I read one news about this hawker, also lost money on his Zi char stall nearly wanna close BUT He later convert to Halal means his Zhi Char stall never use pig oil etc . Surprising business back now he claim got some profits.

actually Govt still think the Malay community is poor. In fact nope. Most of them now quite ok, some even well to do.
Can yearly go travel etc , even can afford branded staffs, luxury items.
