After Optus, another Australian Singtel company hit by cyberattack.
Singtel has revealed that another of its Australian companies has suffered a serious cyberattack compromising the information of up to 20 clients and 1000 employees.
Four weeks after Optus revealed that 9.8 million customers had their data stolen in one of the largest data breaches in Australian history, Singtel said the IT services consultancy Dialog had also been compromised. Dialog’s website says its clients include National Australia Bank,

The customers will eventually sue And last I heard, it is going to be multimillion lawsuits.
Optus/Singtel may go “bank.rupt” if it lose the case

A hack on technology consulting company Dialog, which SingTel bought earlier this year, may have accessed data on fewer than 20 clients and 1,000 current and former staff, according to a Dialog statement issued by SingTel on Monday.

Obviously, they cannot get basic support from SingTel Singapore.

The strict criminal law in Singapore didn't help companies internally to spend $$$ to strengthen cybersecurity ..
That's clearly reflected by SingTel sub Optus data total lack of protection.
