How sure are you that he is alive when he called you?

Was it a video call? No right?

His phone is on my record and it is the same voice. His son's voice is different.

Have a very strong life as he managed to escape from the Japanese, and different countries.

Let's clarify one point first

I know of 3 old folks

One woman 85 years old, running a medical hall with her son and she is 85 years old, nearly blind but still claim herself to be strong and fit

One man who is 85 years old, looks healthy and always smile and happy and wife still alive and he does not work anymore, but go karaoke and do nothing else besides that

One man who is 95 years old, end up his heart got weak and told to have a pacemaker inserted but he refused as he still can think very well what is good for him, but his son is incapable of taking care of him and his daughter, though capable, is relocated in Australia and hired a domestic helper for him

From these 3 examples, I tell myself this

I do not wish to live a long life if it is going to be like them, waiting to die

What for right?

Why he called you all of a sudden after ten long years?

It all depends on individuals. Some had achieved what they had wanted. But they keep moving forward even if the parts may give way over the years.

He said I called him but I didn't. Unless I accidentally touch my phone.

This is not good, as it is natural to die, even though dying is the wage of sin, but only certain Christians are taught this way, but the fact remains that all living things will wither and die

What all wish for is a good life, a good death

LKY did not have a good death

His son kept him alive due to sentimental reasons

He kept his own wife alive, also due to sentimental reasons

Most will also do the same for their loved ones, but actually this is not a good thing

If the time has arrived, should not delay it, but make it a painfree death, so can die with dignity

While we still are alive, we should be planning on how best to pick the last day to go away

That's why I prefer euthanasia and while Singapore is not lawful yet, some countries have legalized it
