Alcohol is a Class 1 Carcinogen”… US Authorities Push to Strengthen Warning Phrases
#1

Dr. Mercy emphasized that alcohol consumption increases the risk of at least seven types of cancer, including breast, colon, and liver cancer, and pointed out that most American consumers are not fully aware of this fact.

Current U.S. dietary guidelines recommend no more than two drinks per day for men and no more than one drink per day for women.

The Mercy Group said, “Alcohol is the third leading cause of preventable cancer in the United States, after tobacco and obesity,” and that the effects are the same regardless of the type of alcohol consumed.

Immediately after this announcement, the stock prices of major alcohol companies such as Diageo, Pernod Ricard, Anheuser-Busch InBev, and Heineken all fell by more than 3%.

Current warning labels on alcoholic beverages in the United States warn that drinking alcohol during pregnancy can cause birth defects and impair judgment when operating machinery, but they have remained largely unchanged since they were introduced in 1988.

Chinese, Japanese and Korean cultures drink even more.

Not to mention French, Italian and Russian, who are maniacs.

What are the cancer rates in those countries??

Alcohol as cause of cancer hides the fact that many daily food and drink Americans ingest is full of chemicals and carcinogens
