He is very smart. By saying that he attracted China Chinese attention and hence so will his channel viewership increase. Why dun he say he was so wrong about Singapore Chinese instead? Simple answer.

One should only look at how Japan started its lost decade in the 1990s. They were also once the most advanced nation in Asia before the asset bubble burst in 1990.  Then the Japanese private sector was living on bank credits.  Though it has improved its private sector bank credits today but this is after more than three decades.  They have learned a bitter lesson,

They had already gone up the ladder. Shanghai had moved up the level to high tech. industries. Don't ever think that you know English and Mandarin. They know even more languages. Those labour intensive will have to go to other counties.

The Greater Bay Area will be more appropriate for Singaporeans who wish to strike out.

No. They tried all sorts of fiscal stimulus btw 1991 to 1990,  but the deflationary pressure still persisted until 2000.  China is following Japanese path now. Fortunately 4 China,  they hv the Japanese experience to learn from. But China’s bubble is bigger in size.

China is trying everything Japanese did 30 years ago.  The asset bubble is just too big. Evergrande gone. Vanke is next. They will need to bite the bullet like what Japanese did to get some recovery after 2000

Where did these Qatar people get the information? Why are they saying China faces economic downturn as mass layoffs accelerate? Is that the reason why these Chinese are coming in numbers to Singapore and Malaysia? Why Singapore and Malaysia cannot stop them?
