During the period of the ban of chicken sales to S'pore by Malaysia, I encountered 2 chicken rice stalls who charged me for "kampong chicken" breast even though I ordered a normal chicken rice with breast meat. The stallholder claimed that he ran out of frozen chicken breast, so he chopped up the "kampong" variety w/o first clearing it with me. As I was hungry and rushing to return to office after my meal, I just paid up. It happened a second time at another stall, but this time, I simply said that I did not order kampong chicken, and promptly left.
