Iran wins by surviving
Some people are mistaking this as Israel vs Iran, whereas in reality its US vs Iran
Some people also mistaking this as Israel making use of US to fight Iran, whereas in reality its the reverse

Why do I say these?
In 2009, US officials wrote a high level report entitled "Path To Persia", describing a plan for the US to make use of Israel to attack Iran for REGIME CHANGE
Therefore, the negotiations are just wayang
The real game is Regime Change

To survive, Iran needs to retaliate to make it painful for Israel
But being the smaller military power Iran must be able to outlast the much bigger USrael tag team
To do this it needs to restrain itself by acting rationally & not out of anger
This is why we see Iran retaliating only on Israel's military targets, and they are not venting anger whacking everything disproportionately
What they are doing is to fire limited but sustained salvos so that their stockpile can outlast USrael's

Iran is playing the long game here to not only win by surviving the unprovoked Usraeli attack, but also win the global public opinion
People can now see that Iran is a rational country & that it deserves to have its own nuclear weapons to protect against the genocidal murderous Israelis

Iran is just a chess piece in the bigger game played by the US to maintain hegemony
Coincidentally Iran is also part of BRICS created to challenge the unipolar world dominated by US
And Iranians did humiliate the US in 1979..you challenge the empire you pay the price... Sanctions & regime change

For now Iran needs to survive the USrael onslaught by making it painful for the attackers, by not escalating, and by gradually attriting Israel's air defence interceptors over the upcoming days
When their interceptors run out, Iran gains a useful card to force the negotiations (stalled by the Israel attack) back on track with some help from Russia
And importantly by deterring the US from entering into the fight
