Can work or not?
Such a long distance power transmission needs ultrahigh voltage!
Both Sg and Aussie don't have the technology!
Why is China Dominating Ultra High Voltage DC?

In a neighborhood of hostile neighbors, we need to have friends and allies outside of the neighborhood who can help us by working with us for this kind of thing.
Otherwise, we will really need to beg Malaysia to rejoin them as a country.

We may all be in the same ASEAN organization, but seriously speaking, a few of us are openly hostile to each other and have interests different from each other.

Easily 10% loss lah.
Not only that, the maintenance is not cheap. Who pay for it?
