Actually those affected customers should ask NCS why their org’s IT security so lax Angry

Terminated staff still have admin access to the servers??? Security by obscurity is totally ridiculous too.

If I am a customer of NCS, I would be very, very worried.

Of course nobody questions NCS because almost all of NCS customers are govt entities and stat boards.  So if lose money it’s taxpayer’s monies. Big Grin

WP should ask about this in Parliament Big Grin

No accountability - just look at SPH losses (taxpayers are funding it nao) by the bui Kim who also sunk NOL to the chagrin of its shareholders.

A French company bought over NOL and turned it around to profitability within the next 6 months Smile

Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine Big Grin

I once witnessed a similar incident where a disgruntled ex-employee caused significant disruptions with sensitive data. It was eye-opening to see how quickly things can escalate without proper safeguards in place. Exploring resources like https://amaru.co.nz/services/penetration-testing/ can provide valuable insights into preventing such attacks and securing company data effectively.

From my experience, besides SOC 2 compliance, implementing comprehensive cybersecurity protocols is crucial. Conducting regular security assessments, ensuring robust access controls, and educating employees about cybersecurity best practices are proactive steps that can mitigate risks.

Most of Mindef's projects are given to NCS. This is not about losing taxpayer's money, it is a security risk.

NCS should not hire non- locals to put this country at risk. It makes CECA really think we owe him a Living.
