This might be the reason why the US has been increasing the interest rate to attract the hot money to their country. From there, they just take the money, at an unprecedented scale, out of the financial system due to the previous over printing of money. The former and latter actions make the USD stronger.
They are able to do it because their economy, now, is a military economic where the return is a few hundreds of percent compared to the less than 10% rates on the bonds and loans which they are paying.
