Moi only remember moi si ginna time the cinema ticket for normal seat ish like 1.50, the VIP seat at 2nd flr ish like $1 more, and some AMDK moobie the cinema will charge $1 more extra.
There was a time when the country asked ordinary men to do extraordinary things.
But now, they'll only do it for money.

Mostly ish Hong Kong moobies lor.
Si ginna that era got zero say, ish fully dictated by parents which moobie to bring to see. And because parent ish illiterates in ang mo so hardly got chance to watch much AMDK moobies.
But moi parent sometime also one kind like horror moobies, that time only 6~7yro nia will bring moi to go watch the late 70s\early 80s malay and hong kong horror moobies. (too young cannot leecall the titles for most liao, from flying head to vampire to gong tao themes all watch before) Even those AMDK cannibal one instead of AMDK blockbuster like Star Wars and Indiana Jones type.
Also kind of recall watch quite a few weird documentary moobies before, from gong tao to huntu to wars to wild life, tribal culture, natural geography, archaeology etc all kind of themes. Think that era most people no cables or internet so those kind of documentary still got some market to run in cinema.
