Introduction

Nippon Kaigi [The Japan Conference], established in 1997, is the largest right-wing organization in Japan. The organization is a major supporter of the current Prime Minister Abe Shinzo, and both Japanese and foreign media report that Abe, and many of his cabinet, are prominent member of its Diet Members League. Despite Nippon Kaigi’s influence on governmental policies of Japan, the organization was little known to the general public until 2015,

In 2017,  Abe's wife's kindergarten became a national scandal after being exposed of a property dealing that led to discovery of attempt to return Japan to Imperial era of conservative militarism. Abe was forced to "apologised" publicly on behalf of his wife.

Japan’s garment is dominated by a few rich families, both Shinzo Abe and current PM are from these families, ordinary Japanese have no chance to become minister let alone PM, fake democracy lah.

BBC (2018)

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has denied he played any role in the alleged cover-up of a land sale at the centre of a growing scandal. The controversy relates to the sale of government land at below market price to a controversial nationalist group. The group is alleged to have used its links to Mr Abe's wife to secure the discount. References to the Abes were later removed from documents. The scandal and cronyism accusations have led to calls for Mr Abe to resign.

At the heart of the scandal is Moritomo Gakuen, a controversial organisation known for its ultra-conservative, nationalistic principles. Its founder was a known supporter of Mr Abe. The organisation wanted to set up a school in Osaka, and bought a plot of land from the transport ministry in 2016. The prime minister's wife, Akie Abe, was listed as the school's honorary principal.

yeah - but unlike those con-church cults, Jap's org is far more sinister and dangerous given how deeply embedded their ultra-right wing members are in Japanese institution, education system and influence within the ruling class.

....between 1994 and 2006, Abe's chief lobbying group, called the Nippon Kaigi, 日本会議, was created.

This political-lobbying group didn’t have much of a public face, but it emerged as an extremely powerful ideologically based group. And this is why comparing him to Trump and [India’s Prime Minister Narendra] Modi and other extremists—or people with extreme views or people who give voice to extreme views—is apt, because these groups seem to come out of nowhere for a lot of us.
