Apple alerts users in 92 nations to iPhone spyware attack
#1

The spyware was probably attacking users “specifically because of who you are or what you do”, Apple said in a warning first reported by TechCrunch, an online technology business newspaper.

The technology company added that it was unable to provide more information about what had caused it to notify the users, as that could help the spyware attackers to adapt their behaviour to evade future detection.

Its support page says that mercenary spyware attacks are exceptionally well-funded and evolve over time, but that it relies solely on “internal threat-intelligence information and investigations” to detect such attacks.

The fact that Apple makes an effort to inform users through handphones means it is very serious. Not like a normal scam.
