People already asking when that day come everyone EV car uses going to replace their car battery. How many electronic waste will it be. EPIC part is changing the battery is NOT CHEAP.

I don't feel surprise , those Car repair shop going to Sharpen their knife to chop EV car owners come replace battery.

It's environmental friendly because, EV do not produce green house gases, only the power plant. So the amount of green house gases produced are reduced. That's the concept. The science says to reduce green house gases so as to bring down global warming.

The back of the electricity supply still needs to use fossil fuel.
We still haven’t found new replacement energy yet.
The good thing of EV car is that it uses less component meaning more environmental friendly.

You don’t know China has started to use salt battery.
The raw material itself is only cost less than 5% of lithium ions batteries.

High Battery cost problem already resolved.

1. Hydroelectric power
2. Solar power
3. Wind power
4. Nuclear power

Because car engines are internal combustion engines, they give out lots of chemical pollution on the roads. Aso petrol stations and car repair shops, very unhealthful places

Just 5 percent don't actually do much. If you claim 50 percent is a Huge difference here. One thing for sure car repair shop will quote High for replacing the battery. Yea is all about " Business, earning big Profits. "

This means today's car workshop will die a natural death like Kodak film camera...

Electric-based system are easily has > 80% efficiency..

Oil-burning (aka ICE) enginres hardly achieve 20%...

The "source" difference is hydro-carbon run out...while another can be generated by other means.

I only heard from others replace EV battery is not cheap is very very expensive. Partly because is not every time you replace of course. Is maybe after 5 years , near 10 years? By the time your COE already going to expire.

Hv to  - who hv the tech and knowledge to maint EV ? Only Chinese has such large scale experience.

Unlike changing engine oil or  mobile phone batteries replacement - competition forces EV makers to provide life-time warranty for EV batteries.

Buy end of the life, the battery, like much of the vehicle, will become part of recycling process.
