We beat the heat by installing a bed cooler that has silicone cooling tube spreading over the bed with a triggering circulating water cooled using an aquarium chiller. Circulating water temperature is set around 26 C. We use our room AC more like a dehumidifier just to lower the humidity for good sleeping. The AC temperature is auto set between 27 C to 30 C. 27 C in 2 hrs of operation and gradually increase to 30 C in middle of the night, then back to 27 C in the morning. We can cut electricity usage by 40% to 50%
