PM-in-waiting, Lawrence Wong, is in no position to argue that S'poreans are looking beyond money and work as their S'porean Dream. For someone who earns an annual salary that is enough to feed the average family for a lifetime, for being a "yes man", who is he to speak on behalf of residents struggling from pay cheque to pay cheque? For the average citizen, the S'porean Dream is over because there is no conceivable way for 80% to live in a private home and 89% to ever own a car here. It is not that locals no longer see these possessions as part of their dream, they realise that aspiring to have them in this country is pure fantasy now under this govt.
