Aussie business switches to four-day work week

Many western countries are talking about 4 day work week…shortening the working hours by 20% without reducing the workload…a way to improve work efficiency and work life balance…Should Spore companies follow the same?

If 4 day work week, it means the actual work only 3.5 days because by 1200 hours Thursday they already stop work to gather for lunch, drink then go for long long weekend which covers Friday, Sat and Sun.
Last time 5 days work week, they only work 4.5 days because they do the drinking ritual on Friday after 1200 hours...

Time has changed nowadays the bosses measure people’s performance based on the work done rather than how many hours you stay in office. People can even work from home yet get work done. In local companies bosses will not be happy if they dunt see you in office, they assume you are lazy, that is very old school mindset.

Aussies are lazy, they want to work less yet get the same pay every month…having said that, I think work efficiency is more important than working long hours. In Germany people dunt surf net or use social media during office hours, and they leave office on time without doing OTs yet they get work done.

Ang mo is try to get work done within office hours , no much gossip etc . This is why they don't believe what Overtime.
SG working culture is different now WORST with CECA . Talk a lot but come work slowly do. Than claim doing Over time ,
if SG switch to 4 days work ? EVEN Worst guess a simple work need to complete within the week will take at least one month or so finish.

we still got low ses company that require employees to work 5.5 days or 6 days
