Kherson for street fights?

"The Russian forces are preparing the occupied Kherson in southern Ukraine for street fighting; a large part of the city has left the city and the military is changing into civilian clothes," writes the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a press release.

"Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army carried out five missile and 19 air attacks and 94 multiple rocket launcher fires," the staff said. About 20 towns were fired upon.

According to the Ukrainian side, during the formation of a regional group of troops in Belarus, conflicts arise between the Russian and Belarusian military on ethnic grounds and in connection with the "impudent attitude of Russians towards Belarusians".

While Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin had announced the end of mobilization in the capital earlier this week, Kartapolov said that Russia is still drafting men in St. Petersburg.

A Russian independent joint investigation study showed on Oct. 5 that Russia mobilized at least 213,200 people from 53 Russian regions in two weeks.

A growing number of newly mobilized recruits are already at the front line in Ukraine without adequate training. Russian soldiers’ families are also reportedly having issues with payment which was supposed to be awarded for their relatives’ service, further declining the morale, Ukraine’s General Staff previously said on Oct. 19.

Payments are being delayed and relatives of the killed Russian soldiers are not receiving the promised compensation, according to the report.
