Of all the technologies...it is a misconception that AI chips are difficult and advanced. They compose of simple adders and multipliers....suddenly there is demand so Nvidia benefitted. But now so many startups and established companies also can make such chips.

Last dot com bubble the leader was Cisco...the router tech is much harder than AI chip for competitors to replicate ...in the end competitors took a few yrs to come in.  

But AI chips with months already got so much competition from AMD, Intel etc.
