That location is at mountnatten side road just before jln seaview.

Nearby area has improved over the yrs, now only this particular spot is still affected by heavy rain

Probably due to the underground train tunnel and high-rise condos nearby. A very small problem compared to those disasters in other countries

Based on the photo, much much better than a few decades ago. Back then, Mountbatten/Katong area can flood up till higher than knees I think. Maybe even waist.

From the photo, not even considered a ponding. Unless the photo is a wrong photo.

Because of the floods, newer condos hv to raise their entrances which are rather inconvenient to the residents
