Aussie Defence Minister Dutton has no military experience, he used to be Immigration Minister, he is a right wing figure and a warmonger….what weapons do Australia produce to sell to Taiwan? Everything downunder is made in China or imported from other countries. Rotfl

These white supremacy are disgusting. They send all these weapons to a conflict state to "trigger" a fight between China and Taiwan. And it is obvious that they are the one who has started this conflict, when at the same time these same lot of people recognized the one China policy.

Later on when China began to defend their territory by trying to "discipline" Taiwan, these white supremacy complaint that China bullies Taiwan, don't understand the rational behind?

Either these white supremacy recognized that Taiwan is an independent country or simply don't acknowledged. On one hand wants to bully China, just make full use of Taiwan as a puppet to "poke fun" of China. Simply despicable actions brought by the white supremacy.

in my opinion, as long as the weapon is usable that should be good enough. But Taiwan as a few problems.

1) Their younger generations doesn't want to go army, with many claimed that serving national service is a waste of time.
2) That few months in the army camp, how much can they learn? will they be able to handle to weapon well? all these were surveyed by a few medias here in Taiwan.
3) The white supremacy still doesn't recognized them as an independent country, so what are they fighting for?
4) Buying second hands weaponry is nothing because they will be throwing away 7 - 8 millions of vaccine including those that they have developed locally in May 2022 as reported by the local news. So they are rich enough to burn their reserves.

Taiwanese mindset is wrong, most people expect the US send American soldiers to defend Taiwan and they themselves dunt want to join army and defend their own land….now they saw the U.S. is not helping Ukraine fighting Russia, all of them are shocked and feel angry. So they stormed AIT website scolding the US….but hey it is not the US problem lah, it is the wrong mindset of Taiwanese, how can they expect other countries send their boys to defend Taiwan and die for Taiwan in the first place? Huh

What's the problem if China has no intention of invading Taiwan.

Corrections :

1. Taiwan is a province of China. This is an undeniable fact.

2. You do not "invade" your own province. But you can fxxk rebel forces off your province.  Laughing

China is communist. Taiwan is NON-communist. As long as Taiwan remain as Taiwan and a sovereign country, then no problem and the world is at Peace. Get it!

On your claims that the Taiwanese mindset is wrong has some truth in it.

Many younger generation Taiwanese used to believes that the US will come to their aids because they were told by the current DPP administration since they took office in 2016. Which is why their conscription has cut short in the services over the years.

While DPP administration continues to claim that they are independence to China for the past 6 years in office, but that’s just mentioned that internally because they have “No Guts” to claimed that they are a independent country to the world officially.

Reason simply because hundred over countries in the world, still “Does Not Recognised” Taiwan Republic of China as a sovereign country in the UN. And that include USA, UK, Japan as well as Singapore. The moment someone claimed recognition of Taiwan sovereignty, the official statement will release immediately by the state’s media to claimed otherwise.

While many Taiwanese other than the “many” which I mentioned in my beginning of my reply here, still believed that they are part of China and they are inseparable to China. Just that currently they have different sets of idea and perspectives with the current administration in People Republic of China.

And as much as many Taiwanese hated it, they do realised that PRC is recognised by the world’s hundreds over countries. And that include USA, UK, Japan as well as Singapore.

In the past few months, many come to realise that DPP has fooled them with many internal issues. And they also realised that US will never come to their aid especially with vaccines, arm deals and Ukraine situations has proven that.

In fact DPP has confused themselves in the past few years, because one moment they claimed that they are Taiwan, refusing to recognise the ROC flag and next moment they acknowledge & embrace the ROC flag. They even embraced Chiang Jing-Kuo as the President of Taiwan recently in January this year. So more and more people realised that they have been fooled by DPP and they are guessing that both Japan and US are behind these propagandas.

Hope that things will change for the better in this year end’s election, but many believed DPP will win again nonetheless because many Taiwanese simply forgets the bad things DPP has brought to them. Taiwanese just hated CCP for whatever reasons and just believed that PRC is the evil one, so they will continue to vote DPP in.

Much like our people back home, who continues to believe in the ruling party will do us good. But is it true?

Apologise for the long read.

Both of you are correct, and they belongs to the democrat party while Pompeo also visited Taiwan a day after the ex-officials left. He too had received money for a speech he gave to some audience after he was conferred by Taiwan President.

To think that US always like to complaint about others for corruptions, but these people collect them with “justified” visits….what a hypocrite.
