Australia threatening to Sanction China is the Biggest Joke
#1

An Excerpt:

Morrison's bluff to side with allies to sanction China can only be viewed as a joke. China and Australia are not at the same level in terms of economic volume. Australia needs China's market much more than China needs Australia, and Australia's exports to China are either replaceable or can almost be ignored, according to Chen Hong, president of the Chinese Association of Australian Studies and professor and director of the Australian Studies Center at East China Normal University.

I would only read SCMP news that is more neutral and more about why Morrison threatened to sanction China

https://www.scmp.com/week-asia/politics/...nctions-if

One of SCMP's paragraphs said "trade with China was important but when faced with security issues, Canberra had a right to call out Beijing. '.  It then went on to say "the China” today was not the same as the one in the past and said bilateral relations between the two nations had sunk to new lows because China had “chopped off diplomatic discussions at a leader level or ministerial”.   “We’re not the ones who are applying bans on their export of products. We’re not the one who is insisting that they open up to more foreign investment in their country.”...

In short,  the report insinuated that "China asked for it".  Countries always have different views and have the right to side with different people/countries.  There is no need to apply bans on the export of products unilaterally.  There is always room for negotiation.,

Trading Economics:  In China, employed persons refer to who performed some work for one hour during the reference period.

Australia is warning China that if it helped Russia, then it would have serious consequences. Not just sanctions from Australia alone. Read the text carefully. That's why China has not misbehave up till now after seeing how the world treat Putin as a pariah. Xi is smart and know that Putin may be dispensable.

What is Australia? A tiny nation smaller than Malaysia, it acts like a mini superpower.  Rotfl

Now no Chinese tourists go back to Australia even after border reopen, less investment from its largest trading partner China, still dares to bark for Uncle Sam? Huh

I really don’t understand why Morrison hate China so much. I guessed he is jealous of China success in economy.

Sanction loh.. But since we take side against Russia, can Australia sell us their things cheaper, like below market rate?

1. I have served the nation in a combat unit for 2.5 + 10 years. I had fulfilled my duty as a citizen, but has the country do it's part for me?
2. I don't know where the threat of CCP is, but I know the threat of CECA is already at my doorsteps
3. I had been called a CCP, JHK, Pinoy, but they never called me a CECA..

The Aussie blueberries and strawberries sold in supermarket there are more expensive than the ones we imported from Australia and sold in NTUC here.

Two reasons 1) racism 2) he has to bark for the US so that Australia can get protected from America

Hum.. maybe different grade.. After all, for Japan, they will keep the best for internal consumption, and sell the next grade item to oversea..

Strawberries from the U.S., blueberries from Mexico, South Africa and Namibia are very sweet, much better than the ones imported from Australia and cheaper also.
