NEW YORK (Reuters) - Interest rates on 30-year fixed mortgages averaged 7.09% a year over the past week, up about 2% from a year earlier, the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation said Wednesday. It is the highest level in 21 years and 4 months since April 2002. It reflected the rising trend in 10-year US Treasury yields, which has impacted mortgage rates.

The US has fixed-period interest loans of up to 30 years. This means the interest rates don't change during the 30 years.
Our propertises loans' interests are only fixed for 2-3 years. This means the interest rates change after 2-3 years. The exception is the HDB loans.
We follow US interest rates.
