BYD is known to maintain a very low current ratio. During good times, it is considered good and efficient but in bad times, this can work against the company. Evergrande has a current ratio less than 1 b4 it collapsed

BYD is world number one in EV technology.
if BYD cannot survive, no EV makers including Telsa can survive.
China has too many EV makers. This explains over capacity of EV.
To survive, BYD needs to go overseas.
BYD is expanding overseas aggressively and capturing market share.
In Singapore, BYD has surpassed Toyota in sale.
Only BYD can survive in bad times.

BYD just did a placenent to raise cash a few weeks ago.
Problem is govt law to improve the payment terms for suppliers ...they now have be paid after 60days instead of 180 days
To reduce its payable backlog BYD has to reduce production so the backlong does not grow further and it can sell more that it builds to restore balance
Actually i dont see any issue as the overall demand for BYD cars.is still rising and will be growing for next few yrs.
BYD js knly reducing its inventory to meet the new payment laws.

The decline is due too great sales in previous 2 years lah.
BYD is playing discounted price tactic to dominate the market.

In Jan 25, a research firm, GMT, reported tt BYD has been masking its debt report. It said the actual BYD’s debt was many times its reported debt.
GMT said BYD has not accounted the supply chain financing, which GMT has also found previously in China Evergrande Group.

This weeekly chart shows tt BYD 1211 will continue to fall in the coming weeks. Down to HK100 is possible. It has lost more than $20 billion in stock value already

it depends if BYD is still leading and gaining market share.
this week, all EV makers will release sale number for June.
BYD is expected to gain more market share because of recent price cut.
BYD cut price because the sale was dropping.
BYD is always ahead of competitors to take action during bad and good times.

as long as BYD can increase yearly profit and revenues and pay dividends, I will buy BYD.
as long as BYD can get fundings from investors, I will buy BYD .
as long as BYD is the 1st to come up new tech and new EV, I will buy BYD.
as long as BYD leads the world EV makers, I will buy BYD.
I am buying BYD since all the above are current and true.

China has so many successful ev companies most of them you hv never heard of, besides byd and maybe geely. Even if byd is down, others will take over. So there's nothing to worry about
