I developed lower back pain after my doctor advised me to sleep on my side instead of my back because I had acid reflux. The drawback of sleeping on my back is that there is no support for it throughout the night.

My back problem is due to hard work when I was young.
The new generation is due to sitting too long.
The world going upside down.

Moderation is key. When I was a young man, it was drilled into us to keep ourselves fit and healthy. I played football and tennis, ran 6 km 5 days per week and worked out in the gym almost daily. Now that I am approaching my mid-50s, I suffer from chronic knee pain following a torn meniscus from overuse.
