Pearl Barley:

Pearl barley takes about 15 minutes to cook in a pressure cooker and 25 to 30 minutes on the stove top. Pearl barley has a slightly softer texture than hulled barley and absorbs more water as it cooks.

actually coffeeshop got use those Barley " Accent Flavor Enhancer " too.

same likewise for Padan cakes , they also using those " accent flavoring " which you can buy from RedMan store.

You preferring those artificial flavorings? Almost all drinks and desserts got added rah, otherwise wun taste nice and cannot sell

Don't need pandan leaves.

1. 50g barley 1.5ltr water
2. Pearl barley takes about 25 minutes on the stove top.
3. Take out half of the cooked barley.
4. Handheld Blender for the rest inside the pot.
5. Add Rock Sugar and put back point 3 into the pot.
6. Cook 3-4 minutes.

If you are lazy,
1. 50g barley 1.5ltr water
2. Pearl barley takes about 25 minutes on the stove top.
3. Handheld Blender for the barley inside the pot.
4. Add Rock Sugar
5. Cook 3-4 minutes.
