If retailers claimed they are saving earth by charging bags , where last time don't. They should donate the money collected from the bags for earth cause & not into their coffers.

BreadTalk bread are not nice. I hv been patronising 4-leaves bread. Price reasonable and very nice. Always long queue.

Even if I buy just 1 bread from 4-leaves, they stil gave me a carrier. But, I brought along my own carrier which is a 4-leaves carrier.

Just walk away if you aren't willing to pay for the plastic bag. I always keep a few reusable bags in my car just in case I need to buy something from the supermarket or any store for that matter.

The rapid growth of the rat population in SG is from the increase in food waste in an overcrowded city as well as food thrown without plastic bags straight down the rubbish chute.

Like i always say, plastic bag is part of the business, why they dont provide really scratch my head. What saving the environment by charging 10 ct. The environment wont change. The business owner might as well closed down the business as they themselves posed more harmful to environment by selling their products. Ridiculous
