If it see Israel wounded by Hezbollah and Hamas won't it try to take advantage and go for some spoils? Just like WW2 US and Russia rushing into Berlin to see who get there first. In this case the prized jewel would be Jerusalem that holy place where Crusaders already fought so much over it many years ago.

Since you talk about the crusades do you know that in almost all of them thr Muslim invaders did not kill the 'infidels'. U guess who killed the most? Give u a hint - not the Jews.
