Just imagine having an economy of this size without sacrificing too much of our space and private spaces.
Our national budget would be doubled like defence , education and social spendings . Of course research and development. More attention to civil liberty.
Just how feasible is it ?

Brighter side of things are that Singapore can have a bigger military like bigger warships can put the jets and more buying power to import our stuff.

I am not imagining - India's GDP is more than x8 times of SG.
Would you measure your living standard by just GDP figures only ?

Any economist will tell you a "1 trillion" league GDP is NOT a measure of quality living standard.

Probably it takes a long while for the money to trickle down to the grassroots.Vast lands and 300m population. Gonna starts somewhere. People will see progress at national level see endless stretches of paved roads , fast trains , factories, like what is happening to our immediate neighbor .

Our Economy and Infrastructure cannot always be Future Ready because this is a Never- Ending Race, a Govt process that will destroy locals. It is about time to review on Sustainability using own local workforce while removing some FTs.
