One or two or many parties is useless.

U need participation from all levels of society to craft policies to benefit country.

The party itself is not supreme. The party that can gather resources and participation from all levels is good one.

When there is only 1 party, they will craft policies that benefit themselves and their families/cronies. This is what is happening in S'pore.

One uncle I met at the bus-stop gave me 3 REASONS-

1) Dominant Power for too long must have Check & Balance

2) Dominant Party are not Transparent in many policy effects and results

3) Dominant People becomes Arrogant and complacent

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?
