It is definitely affordable for this couple. Their total incoming is at least $14k, meaning, even if they buy a $1mil resale, the ratio of purchase price over annual income is only 5 plus.
This couple is just complaint king/queen lah.

Exactly, many of these higher-middle class people try to piggy back on poor people's genuine concerns. A couple earning >$14k confirm can afford 4-room resale in Punggol or Senkang. If they cannot even save an amount to put down a downpayment for resale HDB after using grants and CPF, then it is their own fault for not saving. They should not expect to be handed a flat in Duxton or Dawson on a platter.
