CPF CEO arbitrary fixed OA rate @ 2.50% pa, a violation needs investigation.

Reviewed quarterly, this rate is computed based on the 3-month average of major local banks' interest rates1 (subject to the legislated minimum interest of 2.5% per annum)."

As a CPF member, everyone is entitled to ask if you don't know anything or to post question if you don't understand why.

There's nothing wrong about it

And being appointed by the Govt, CPF CEO is the best person to provide all the answers.

Australia plans to impose high tax for Super withdrawals, you’d better ask questions to Aussie garment on this.

Wait for him for what? He is in the U.S. discussing purchasing expensive nuclear powered submarines. In order to fund the submarines Aussie garment has to raise taxes.

USD 3 billion per submarine, Australia is buying 5 for 15 billion USD, plus training and annual maintenance cost.

Lacking capability to maximise ROI for CPF members savings to meet their future retirement, CPF CEOs fixing of OA interest rates becomes paramount.

By keeping a much lower OA rate @ 2.50% pa and longer  than what were clearly stipulated "using Banks average 3 months FD rates" is contravening the rules.

Sadly, this is against the spirit of managing a national pension fund..

Singaporeans demanding an answer
