M1 can just write to the hosting company, get the IP address, and ask who is the one that register there.

i recd this too today,clicked the link is says is scam.call m1 no one picked up. will check statement or my cr card statemnt to see whether pay double of same amt

If you log in, they will have access to your M1 account’s user name and password. They also can have a record of what you key in for payment if you make payment. They can also go through the list of your accounts on websites.

Recently I also had a scam letter via e-mail, on a SingPost Letterhead, asking me to pay for custom duty for a parcel before I can get my parcel. I immediately know that it is a scam and ignore it....but in hindsight I may want to pursue the case further by going to the police to nab the perpetrator....I don't know whether it is a good choice of action....

police will tellu it is v v commonjust ignore it.
i showed police my hp loansharks offering loans,he said just ignore it he also hv !!

But this crimes must be dealt with, else it may become a bigger crime if left unchecked.....
