Wow in HK their kids speak Cantonese so well also English somemore if read mandarin they also good.

You'd be surprised. In Guangzhou, many young kids no longer speak Cantonese at home.

Because in school they speak mandarin unlike Hongkong but if I not mistaken they now also learn mandarin as HK already return to China beside communicate in Cantonese.
