Looks like Capitaland is bailing on China, and honestly, it’s probably the smart move. The property market there’s been a mess for a while, and cutting exposure might be the only way to avoid deeper losses. I wouldn’t be surprised if other companies do the same soon.

SgButt's fake news:  Capitaland suffer losses from China property crisis..to exit China investments

The actual statement is:
"The company said in an emailed statement that it was “fully committed” to its China business and intends to grow its funds there with local capital. Diversification is part of its plans to grow as an asset-light real estate manager, it said."

TO FULLY realise its vision for Singapore, as ruling People’s Action Party (PAP) will need a continued mandate from voters that goes beyond a single term. This goal, said now as Prime Minister Lawrence Wong on Sunday (Nov 5), all depends on whether party can continue to win the support of Singaporeans & be elected to form the govt. “The people’s support is not a given. The PAP may have won every election since 1959, but we can easily lose the next,” he said in a speech at the PAP’s awards and convention.

(One must met a real master. We all are very, very fortunely to had, not least but a few master with us, like Mr Goh Keng Swee, a wise manager to help Singaporean folks.)

Goh Keng Swee (Dr). October 1918, Malacca has often been called a “economic architect” of Singapore for his great contributions to development of Singapore into a prosperous nation during his terms as minister for finance & defence.

When a big developer keeps building and continuously buying W/O any internal Limit and Risk control, you know, what sort of Board of Directors and management?

And if they see troubles, they do internal transfers into another company's books.

To avoid extreme losses they do window dressing.

And if they see troubles, they do internal transfers into another company's books.
